Terms & Conditions
Effective from: 15 August 2025

Welcome to Letters Unsent Press
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through this website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms, written not in legalese, but in plain, respectful language. While it’s a one-woman labour of love (hello, I’m Reema 👋), I sometimes use “we” for ease and future-proofing.

1. Orders
Every order is lovingly packed and fulfilled by hand. When you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Once your parcel is dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping notification with tracking information (if applicable). Please double-check your delivery address before completing your purchase, errors can delay or prevent delivery, and we can't be responsible for parcels sent to the wrong address.

2. Shipping
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. All items are dispatched via Royal Mail using either Second Class, Tracked 48 or Tracked 24, depending on what you choose at checkout. Shipping fees are flat rate and cover packaging, handling, and postage.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 business days. Delivery timeframes begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.

3. Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged. If your item is damaged or there is a mistake with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with your order number and photographs. We’ll do our best to make it right.

4. Payments
We accept payments securely via the Squarespace platform. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including but not limited to the journal, text, photography, design elements, and brand name "Letters Unsent", is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Reema Ali is the founder and owner of Letters Unsent Press. Nothing may be reproduced, copied, or used without prior written permission.

6. Privacy
We value your privacy. Any information collected is used solely to process your order and communicate with you if necessary. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Liability
We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect address information or disruptions with Royal Mail. Once your parcel is handed over to the courier, it's in their hands, but we’ll always help if something goes awry.

8. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.

If you have questions, you can always reach out via our Contact Page. We’re human, and we care.

With gratitude,
Reema Ali
